What does the Bible say about Sin?
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
What does the Bible say about Homosexuality?
The Bible, as God's Word, reveals God's moral character and it shapes the morality of the Christian. The Bible has much to say about homosexuality:
1.Lev. 18:22 , "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
2.Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them."
3.Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
4. Revelation 19:7, Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 21:2, And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Even our Lord Jesus Christ describes His bride (The Chruch) as a female. THE BRIDE, THE LAMB’S WIFE, IS NOT LIKENED TO A MAN.
With such clear statements against homosexuality, it is difficult to see how different groups can say the Bible supports homosexuality. The truth is that God created man and woman, not man and man, or woman and woman. The Bible does not support homosexuality, as we have seen from the scriptures above.
Even our Lord Jesus Christ describes His bride (The Chruch) as a female. THE BRIDE, THE LAMB’S WIFE, IS NOT LIKENED TO A MAN.
Unlike other sins, this sexual sin has a judgment administered by God Himself: He gives them over to their passions (Rom. 1:26-28). This means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins. As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance. Without repentance, there will be no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
As a BBC you should not be found Debating With The Public on the subject of homosexuality, otherwise you will get into trouble with both God and man. The Word of God is meant to shape the lives of those who love Him and want to do His will. Unbelievers and non-BBCs can live their lives as they so desire. It is not for any Christian to judge them either. It is written: Matthew 7:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
The bible has expressed in so many verses that God punishes transgressors. Therefore, we should let God do His Job and prove His Sovereignty.
This article has set me free from the agents of confusion clouding my mind on this subject. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThis is a God-Sent!
ReplyDeleteGod knows best.
ReplyDeleteGood Heavens! The truth shall prevail.
ReplyDeleteThe world is such a scary place these days, only few people believe God and His word to be true, I hope and pray that the judgement He pronounced on Sodom and Gomorrah, does not befall us soon. IJCN AMEN.
ReplyDeleteBible Believing Christians are experiencing a lot of persecution because of this subject on homosexuality, My prayer is that The God peace crush the heads of His enemies very soon. Amen.
ReplyDeleteWell Done, Christian Kingdom BBC Forum, Hope to see you again in Dubai!
ReplyDeleteGod and His Word cannot be parted,We believe this stuff.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is the real big issue dividing the world at the moment, but me I dey for Jesus side oh!
ReplyDeleteWe must not be afraid to speak God's truth or the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ because it is the power of God unto salvation. The ungodly is gradually perishing without them knowing it, Christians must stick to the truth, it is only the truth that will set them free and keep them focused.
ReplyDeleteMy struggle is with people who are prejudice to Christians because they chose to be obedient to God on this subject. Dearly beloveds, continue to exercise patience and endurance, in due season you shall reap the rewards of righteousness. IJCN Amen.
ReplyDeleteBBC Forum, let's meet in Moscow soon.
ReplyDeleteAll sins are ugly not just one!
ReplyDeleteAll I ever need is you BBC!
ReplyDeleteVery well said.
ReplyDeleteWhat? God gave them over to a depraved mind?
ReplyDeleteYes, He did.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to know that God's word shapes the life of His people. We can therefore, draw the necessary boundaries regardless of peer pressure.
ReplyDelete10 deadly sins? I am sure there are more than 10!
ReplyDeleteStraight to the point.
ReplyDeleteI love this. God is good and kind, very often we take for granted, the precious gems embedded in the bible, the Word of God is really meant to shape our spiritual stature. Well done BBC Forum!
ReplyDeleteOh, Good Lord!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your support.
DeleteFrom Ghana with love. Keep the oil burning BBC forum.
ReplyDeleteAll sins are ruled by alien spirits and they can bring along demons or curses to attack our bodies in the form of diseases or some unexplained phenomena. Demons are Extra Terrestrial spirits and should not be found in the body of any BBC. Our bodies are the temple of The Holy Ghost. As a BBC, if you are suffering from any attack for a sin you no longer practice or you simply do not understand why you are suffering, just shout at this enemy, saying: "ET go home IJCN AMEN!" Remember to practice this until you get your victory. The Holy Ghost has the power to send demons into the Abyss - A land far, far, far away from the Abbeys. God bless you all.
ReplyDeleteHow very interesting,- the similarities in the two words: abyss and abbeys Obviously God and His friends live in one, and the other is reserved for His enemies. Have mercy Oh Lord.
ReplyDeleteBBCs, press in a little more with your faith and prayers. The Rewarder is round the corner to compensate you.
ReplyDeleteLovely advice.
ReplyDeleteJust say *NO* to the seducer and the tempter, then leave the rest to God your Deliverer.
ReplyDeleteA Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to Everyone!

DeleteThanks Kwesi, that was apt.
DeletePlease help us pray for Doreen and her mum who are now traumatized by an unexpected arrest in Arizona. They have been made to apologise in public for their Christian views on current issues.Doreen is only 13!
ReplyDeleteHow very unfortunate.
DeleteUndoubtedly, Christians are the most hated race by the world at the moment. Keep on resisting the devil folks, God loves you!
ReplyDeleteRemember, your enemy, the devil capitalizes on sin and can use this as a curse weapon to attack you. Be wise, stay away from sin, you are not born to sing the blues.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick reminder - How do you remain sane in this troublesome times? Ans - Hold on to the WORD of GOD in those bible verses, that is how to know whether you are mad or your ENEMY the liar is MAD.
ReplyDeleteVery well said, Musa.

Helpful hint, CK BBC.
ReplyDeleteWhen you come to collect your people remember me O Lord, Amen.
ReplyDeleteAre we ripe for some sort of judgement or what?
ReplyDeleteI love that Man called Jesus Christ, for He has done so very much for me; He has forgiven all my sins and sent The Holy Ghost to me; I love that Man of Galilee!
ReplyDeleteAll BBCs - Have A Very Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!
ReplyDelete10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
ReplyDelete11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Ephesians 6:10-20 King James Version
Dear BBCs, in honour of the 40 days fast of our Lord Jesus Christ in the wilderness, please remember to do whatever you can during this lent season...
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI am a BBC, and I am very pleased!
ReplyDeleteSo am I Alex. Have a Good Day!
ReplyDeleteLast week, we went on a trip to Israel. At the immigration desk, I was asked if I was religious at all. With great enthusiasm, I responded and said; "indeed, I am very, very, very religious." I thought that would be the right thing to say to gain the favour of the officer, after all my trip to Israel was of a religious nature and I am very serious about my Christianity. Within minutes, I was seized and taken to a special room and seriously interrogated, I was stripped to my pants and treated like a terrorist. I only wanted to visit the birthplace of my Lord Jesus Christ. What an awful experience, but that will not stop me from visiting Israel again.
ReplyDeletePoor William, it is so sad to read about your awful experience in Israel. May God reward you with many years of pleasant trips to Israel and many other parts of the world that you so desire to visit. Have a Victorious Christian Life!
ReplyDeleteDear BBCs, let us not forget about the 10 deadly sins (1Corinthian 6:9-10) that quench the light of the soul. We should strive to refrain from them all. Enjoy the rest of your summer holiday, and remember to glide gently on those roller coasters!
ReplyDeleteWinter is approaching, so is the coming of our Lord...
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Everyone!
ReplyDeleteHow to combat the devil and be victorious in 2016 is to: Pray, Pray, Pray until you can pray no more. Resist the devil and he will flee!
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteO God, I am happy today, it is a lovely day in April. I saw a few blossoms on the tree in my back garden. Thank You for nature.
ReplyDeleteI AM A BBC.

ReplyDeleteDear BBCs, let us not forget the real meaning of Christmas. Enjoy your holiday. Jesus Is Really Alive.
